A pin and weld is permanent — once it's done, it's done. That's why we measure twice, verify your muzzle device length against the 16" requirement, and finish every weld so it looks clean.

How a Pin & Weld Job Gets Done
Permanent means permanent. Each step is deliberate, and nothing gets welded until the math is verified.

Verification
Confirm barrel length, muzzle device length, and that the combined assembly meets or exceeds 16" per ATF.

Install & Time
Install the muzzle device, time it correctly (especially for compensators and brakes), and torque to spec.
03
Pin & Weld
Drill the locating dimple, set the pin, and weld the pin head over per ATF-compliant method.
04
Touch-Up & QC
Touch up the welded area, inspect the joint, and confirm overall length one final time before pickup or return shipping.
