What does porting actually do?
Porting cuts holes in the top of the barrel (and sometimes the slide) to vent expanding gas upward. The downward reaction force pushes the muzzle back toward target, reducing muzzle rise and speeding up follow-up shots. Results vary by caliber, load, and shooter.
Will laser porting or engraving void my warranty?
Yes, any permanent modification — porting, engraving, stippling, threading — voids the manufacturer warranty on that part. The firearm functions perfectly afterward; it just won't qualify for OEM warranty repair.
Can you engrave NFA markings on my SBR or suppressor?
Yes. We do Form 1 and Form 3 NFA engraving to ATF spec — correct depth, correct placement, and correct text. Send us your approved paperwork (or planned markings) and we'll take care of it.
